CLUB OWNERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT
After more than 20 years servicing the local soccer community, Liverpool International Academy MA owners Tim Dunn and Bill Johnson will be retiring at the end of the calendar year.
Tim and Bill have had such a positive impact on the lives of so many young soccer players in Plymouth and the South Shore area, providing them with pathways to play the game at the high school and collegiate level. Liverpool FC IA MA and the greater soccer community will be sad to see them go, however, they both feel it's now time for them to enjoy a new phase in their lives and spend time with the next generation of soccer players - their grandchildren!
Bill writes, "In 40 years of local soccer coaching - from the first Silver Lake Varsity team, to Pembroke and Marshfield youth soccer, and to the founding of Crusaders Soccer Club - I have always made the development of my players my first priority. In my tenure, I have been part of wonderful successes and met countless wonderful people. Thank you all for allowing me into your soccer lives. I just hope I was able to give you a small positive part of the game as you have all been a major part of what the game has given me. It is time now to be a fan and watch some of those players' children - as well as my next generation of Johnsons - take the field to learn and love the game that has given us all so much."
Current co-owners Martyn Hollands and Adam Scott will be taking full ownership of the club as from January 2018 and want to take this opportunity to thank Tim and Bill for providing such a solid foundation for them to take to the club forward for the next 20 years. We welcome you to send notes of congratulations and best wishes to admin@
