***As of January 5, 2017, the 2017 Soccerthon fundraising event has been postponed to a later date that will better accommodate our participating teams' schedules. Stay tuned for an update by mid-February.
The Soccerthon is a fundraising event hosted by Liverpool FC International Academy MA to benefit two of our community partners - Community Kicks and Fragile Footprints (The Jordan Hospital Club). We work with clubs, towns, and schools from throughout the south shore to host a 24-hour soccer tournament designed to showcase how sport can be utilized as a conduit for social service and community impact.
About Jordan Hospital and Fragile Footprints
Fragile Footprints is a pediatric palliative program sponsored by Jordan Hospital and Cranberry Hospice, which provides services to medically fragile children and their families.
About Community Kicks
The mission of Community Kicks is to utilize soccer as a tool for community engagement and philanthropic service. While broad in mission, Community Kicks is focused on offering an array of youth programming in partnership with south shore communities in Massachusetts to ensure that youth players of all ages have access to soccer regardless of skill, economic access and/or physical ability.
