2015 Holiday Drive To Benefit South Shore Community Action Council’s Food Resources Program and Jordan Hospital Club/Fragile Footprints
Join the CSU community from November 30 through December 20 as we come together in support of two local charitable partners – South Shore Community Action Council’s Food Resources Program and Jordan Hospital Club/Fragile Footprints – for our 2015 Holiday Drive.
About Our Holiday Drive: Team Up Against Hunger with SSCAC
Since 1965, South Shore Community Action Council has provided a range of critical services to low-income individuals and families on the South Shore of Massachusetts. SSCAC works to eliminate poverty along the South Shore by providing low-income people with opportunities and supports for education, training, and work. SSCAC’s Food Resources Program operates SSCAC’s Food Distribution Center with the goal of getting more nutritious food to more hungry people in the most cost-effective way through coordinated food pick-up, transport, storage and distribution. In 2014, nearly 600,000 pounds of food were distributed throughout Plymouth County.
This holiday, CSU will Team Up Against Hunger to support the SSCAC BACKPACKS4KIDS Initiative to ensure that no child is left hungry. We are asking teams to sign up to sponsor a backpack and provide the items below to any of our three drop off locations.

About Our Holiday Drive: Be A Secret Santa to Support Fragile Footprint Families
Jordan Hospital Club is a volunteer organization founded in 1906 with more than 300 current members. JHC believes that “excellence in healthcare, right here in our community, when and where we need it, requires our support and advocacy” and lives that mission by serving as community ambassadors for BID-Plymouth. Fragile Footprints is a pediatric palliative program sponsored by BID-Plymouth and Cranberry Hospice, and provides services to medically fragile children and their families.
This holiday, CSU teams have the opportunity to serve as a Secret Santa to Fragile Footprints patients and their families as we help ensure a happy holiday for everyone.
